Numerical Simulation and Parameter Setting
A finite element model of a tubular truss is established using OpenSees. The El Centro wave (PGA=0.4g) is input to simulate seismic action. The load distribution is reflected by the MASS21 element concentrated mass method. The truss displacement, stress, and damage index (DM≤0.5) are analyzed.
Dynamic Response and Seismic Verification
The model shows that under intensity 9, the maximum displacement of the structure reaches 17.19cm, the peak stress is 5.71×10⁷N/m², and the damage index meets the repairable standard for moderate earthquakes (0.25<DM<0.5).
