Mechanism of Residual Stress Formation in Can Stock:
The pre-stretching process eliminates rolling residual stress through 1.5%-3% plastic deformation, but creates a new "W-shaped" stress distribution (surface compressive stress up to -50MPa, core tensile stress ≤30MPa). If the pre-stretching rate is less than 2%, the residual stress reduction rate will decrease by more than 40%.
Key Parameter Control:
Gradient temperature-controlled stretching (200-250℃) combined with aging treatment is required to improve stress uniformity by 60%. Crack compliance method should be used for testing to ensure that the rolling direction/transverse stress difference is ≤15MPa, and the grain orientation uniformity deviation is <5°.
