Product details
Composed of a sun gear, planet gears, and a ring gear, power splitting reduces the size by 1/3 compared to fixed-axis gear trains and doubles the load-carrying capacity. Load equalization mechanisms (floating sun gear or planet carrier) ensure load deviation of each planet gear is <5%. Used in wind turbine gearboxes (power >10MW) and hybrid transmissions.
