Product details
Petrochemical tube sheet material selection requires comprehensive consideration of media corrosivity, temperature and pressure parameters, and economics. Austenitic stainless steel (such as 316L) is suitable for chloride-containing environments, chromium-molybdenum steel (such as 15CrMoG) is used in high-pressure hydrotreating units, and duplex steel (2205) is suitable for acidic conditions containing H₂S/CO₂.
Clad plates (such as titanium/steel explosion bonding) can balance strength and corrosion resistance, and UT testing is required to ensure a bonding rate of ≥99%. Material selection must comply with standards such as GB/T9948 and SH3501, and intergranular corrosion resistance and low-temperature toughness must be verified.
