Petroleum cracking tube is a high-performance seamless steel pipe specifically designed for the petrochemical industry. It is mainly used to crack and decompose petroleum raw materials (such as crude oil or heavy oil) into lighter hydrocarbon products, such as gasoline, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), under high temperature and high pressure conditions. It is widely used in cracking units, catalytic cracking equipment, and other high-temperature and high-pressure chemical processes in oil refineries.

Features of Petroleum Cracking Tubes:

  1. Material: Usually made of high-quality carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel (such as 20#, 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 1Cr5Mo, etc.) to ensure high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance.
  2. Manufacturing Process: Mostly seamless steel pipes, produced by hot rolling or cold drawing processes to ensure uniform wall thickness and high strength.
  3. Performance Requirements:
    • High Temperature Resistance: The cracking process usually takes place above 500℃, even up to 700℃, requiring the pipe material to have good high-temperature oxidation resistance.
    • High Pressure Resistance: The cracking reaction requires a high-pressure environment, and the pipe material needs to withstand high internal pressure.
    • Corrosion Resistance: Petroleum raw materials may contain corrosive substances such as sulfides, and the pipe material needs to have a certain degree of corrosion resistance.
  4. Specifications: The outer diameter is usually between 10mm and 426mm, and the wall thickness is between 2mm and 50mm. Specific specifications are customized according to equipment needs.
