Pipe Truss Welding Process Control
Employ a symmetrical welding sequence (center first, then both sides; large pipes first, then small pipes) to reduce deformation. Thick plates require UT flaw detection and preheating to 150-260℃ before welding. Control the current and voltage during CO₂ gas shielded welding. Perform visual and ultrasonic testing 24-48 hours after welding to ensure the weld has no porosity or slag inclusions.
Process Quality Monitoring
The entire pipe truss welding process implements a "three-inspection system" (self-inspection, mutual inspection, and specialized inspection), with a focus on checking the cutting accuracy of the intersection lines of pipe nodes and the deviation of the ball-rod axis. A VSR aging vibration instrument is used to eliminate residual stress, and the natural deflection deviation after weld cooling must be ≤13mm.
