Low-Temperature Resistance Design: In extremely cold environments, box columns should use high-toughness steel (such as Q355D), with an impact energy of ≥27J at -40℃. Normalizing treatment is used to refine the grain size and avoid brittle fracture. Full penetration welding is used at the joints to reduce stress concentration.
Wind Pressure Resistance Optimization: The cross-section is designed as a closed rectangle, and the torsional stiffness is 5-8 times that of an open section, which can resist a level 12 typhoon. Flow deflectors are added to the surface to reduce the drag coefficient, and bolted connections enable quick assembly and disassembly.
Corrosion Prevention Synergy: Combining marine engineering experience, a galvanized + powder coating composite coating is used, and the salt spray test reaches 3000 hours, ensuring durability in extreme climates such as rain, snow, and salt spray.
